JAZZ/LYRICAL

Upbeat technical exercises that develop muscle coordination are things you might find in a basic jazz class. Lyrical jazz dance has the beautiful lines of ballet and is taught as the art form. Each class begins with a technical warm-up, utilizing center barre, followed by basic traveling steps & ending with a combination.


Attire

Females:
  • black jazz shoes (slip-on & split sole preferred)
  • black leotard
  • white, black, or tan tights
  • jazz pants or shorts optional

Males:
  • black shirt
  • black pants
