BRING A FRIEND WEEK:
OCT. 20 – 26
Our annual ‘bring-a-friend’ week is from Monday, October 20
through Sunday, October 26.
Any student currently enrolled in class at Dynamix
may have the chance to bring 1 friend or sibling with them
to class that week.
The only requirements are:
(1) friends need to be the same age, within a year,
of the class (ex. a 6 yr. old may not take their sister’s
9-12 yr. old class) (2) friends need a signed permission
slip from a parent/guardian at the time of their class & (3)
friends need to be wearing suitable clothing (such as
sweats, or loose fitting items) if they do not have the
proper dress code.
Incentive for referrals:
Our cut off date for new enrollment, if a class is not
filled, is Nov. 1.
Any student who brings a friend & enrolls for the
08-09’ season by Nov. 1 will receive
10% off December’s
tuition.
COSTUME PAYMENTS
A
fee of $20 per person/per weekly class(es) for costume
payments will be added to each student’s invoice for Oct. &
Nov. The
balance for all costumes is due no later than December 15.

HAPPY
HALLOWEEN!

LATE REGISTRATION DAYS:
WED. SEPT 3 & SAT. SEPT. 6
The
last two days to register for fall classes before our
program begins is Wednesday, September 3 from 5:00-8:00PM &
Saturday, September 6 from 12:00-3:00PM.
Classes are filling up quickly,
so hurry…classes begin Sept. 8.
SEPTEMBER 27 –
MISS DANI’S BIG DAY!!
Miss
Dani is getting married on Saturday, September 27 at Bear
Creek Resort.
Congratulations & Best Wishes
from your Dynamix Family!
STUDIO CLOSED
The
studio will be closed Monday, October 13 to observe Columbus
Day.
HALLOWEEN PARADE:
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19
Dynamix
will be walking/performing in the Saucon Valley Halloween
Parade again this year. The parade starts at 2:00PM, but we
need to line up at the Saucon Valley HS by 12:30PM.
The only requirement is
students need to be wearing Dynamix dance wear.
Participants who are under 12
years old, need a chaperone to walk with them & must be
wearing Dynamix wear, as well.
Any student who wants to
represent the studio needs to fill out a permission slip in
the office no later than October 17.
DRESS UP WEEK:
OCT. 27 – NOV. 2
To
bring in the Halloween spirit, students may wear their
costumes to class during this week only.
The only restriction is that
costumes need to be danceable.
In other words, if you are
the “Little Mermaid” for
Halloween and your costume requires a long, binding skirt,
it might be difficult moving around!!
Also, for older students who
might not wear a costume, feel free to stray away from the
typical dress code and actually wear your pajamas to ballet
class for once!!
RECITAL:
2009
THEME – SONG CHOICES
Even though our year has just begun,
planning for the end of year dance production is underway.
Our theme for 2009 is “Animal
Instinct.”
This could be songs and/or
choreography about animals, or simply artists with animal
names (ex. The Black Crowes, The Monkees, or Stray Cats).
If anyone has any song ideas,
we’d love to hear them!
DATES
& VENUE
As far as a recital date & venue:
We will be holding the show at
Emmaus High School again, however, we are unsure about the
exact dates.
The HS is re-working some
graduation events and until they do so, they can not
guarantee a date.
It will either be the 2nd
or 3rd weekend of June.
As soon as we know, you’ll
know.
Thanks for being patient |
