Fitness @ DYNAMIX DANCE CENTER
Per class $ 10 or "Summer" Gold Card $150
Payments for fitness classes can be made one of two ways:
First, is to pay per class. During the first week of every month you may purchase tickets for however many classes you think you may attend during that month. Tickets must be purchased prior to each class. Each ticket is $10 and is good for any of our fitness classes including Jazz-Aerobics, Kickboxing, Yoga, and Pilates. Tickets may be carried over month to month. How it works: Print your name, date your ticket, and just give it to the instructor as you walk into the class. Please arrive on time.
The second way to pay for your classes is to become a "gold card" member. If just one or two classes a week is not enough and you are looking for a variety of classes, this program is for you. What you get: Unlimited classes including Kickboxing, Yoga, Pilates, and Jazz-Aerobics for an entire month! How it works: During the year (Sept.- May) students may purchase the 13 week "Summer" gold card and have fun getting a workout in as many classes as we offer in our Fitness program. (The Fitness schedule is subject to change by adding other classes of interest). Just sign in before each class. Remember to keep your card with you and bring it to class every time. Gold card members receive 50% off of Bikini Boot Camp!! * Add a $15 Registration fee for new students, and $5 fee for returning students (for both Dance & Fitness)
Course Descriptions
Cardio-Kickboxing: Take a regular aerobics class and combine martial arts & self defense maneuvers, and that's what you call Cardio-Kickboxing! This is an energizing class that will build endurance and strength, while using boxing moves and cardio intervals to give an overall intense workout.
Hatha Yoga: Get in touch with your spiritual side & learn the practicing "Yogi" philosophy as you tone and strengthen your muscles and joints. This class includes a relaxation period at the beginning and end of each session and a balanced, holistic sequence of postures. A short 5 minute meditation at the end of class is an added bonus. Students leave class with a full body workout as well as breathing techniques to improve concentration and expand their lung capacity. *** (Intro. classes available)
Pilates: Learn to strengthen your core, the power center of your body, by improving your posture, balance and coordination. This class will increase flexibility and joint mobility while giving you a stronger immune system and assures a more restful sleep. Go from tired to energized, from soft to lean and most of all, from out of shape to healthy. (Introductory & Ball classes are available)
Jazz-Aerobics: Since we are a dance center, this class is perfect for dancers who want a more intense workout, or a fitness buff who wants to add dance moves while aerobicising. The class consists of learning a variety of Jazz dance routines, and combining cardio to get you one step closer to having a dancer's body. (This is not a dance technique class)
