Meet our Faculty!

"Miss Dana" L. Flok
Since completing her BFA in Dance from Kutztown University, Dana has instructed, choreographed, and performed throughout the Lehigh Valley and Reading areas. With a minor in theatre, her credits include choreography in several musicals and off-Broadway shows, as well as, working with dance companies in the surrounding area. Dana has acted as the head coach and choreographer for the Lehigh University Dance Team for several years. While under her instruction, the team has represented this area competing at the national level in Disney World, televised on ESPN. She also started the dance team at Emmaus HS. where she worked as a dance instructor & choreographed productions. Starting in 2007, she is the Junior Dance Team Coordinator for the Lehigh Valley Outlawz. Although Miss Dana will be on maternity leave this year, she will be sure to pop in from time to time and most likely choreograph some pieces after the new year. Her main goal is to educate dancers by teaching and instilling the art form of dance. She looks forward to running the studio for the fifth year as its artistic director.

“Mr. Dominick" Boyd
As a native of New York City, Dominick has mastered all the latest Hip-Hop Dance styles, and has credits in choreography, performing, & teaching. Dominick travels up and down the East Coast making special guest appearances for musicians. Such credits include: Alicia Keys, Omorion of B2K, Neil Young, 112, and has even performed at the Grammy Awards. Dominick is known for his original urban style and we are excited to have him instruct all Hip-Hop classes for the 2007-08 year.

PAULA GABRIEL
Paula has been an aerobics instructor since 1980. She has taught fitness classes to children, teens, adults, individuals with special needs, and Lehigh University's football team. She has experience teaching Hi/Lo aerobics, cardio kickboxing, jazzercise, step aerobics, and step interval. She was formerly certified through AAAI, and the YWCA, and is currently certified through NDEITA. She possesses a current certification in CPR and first aid.
AMALA GAMEELA
Amala is an experienced, passionate dancer/instructor who specializes in folkloric, cabaret, and modern Middle Eastern Bellydance. She continues to study with accomplished professionals from the United States and Egypt and regularly performs throughout the tri-state area at various festivals, restaurants, weddings, and private parties. Amala will be teaching all Bellydance classes at Dynamix.
ROBIN GUALTIERI
Acting as our 2nd Yoga
instructor, Robin specializes in Pre-natal yoga, as she is carrying her second
child as well. Robin carries her certification she obtain at Yoga on Main in
Manayunk, PA which is Yoga Alliance approved. She wants her students to achieve
balance of mind, body, and spirit by using Yoga postures (asana), strengthening
exercises and breathing & meditation techniques (perfect for use in child
birth).
"MISS CASSIE" HALKO
As of Fall 2007, Miss Cassie will act as our new Baton & Twirling instructor. She is currently working towards a degree in Elementary & Special Education at East Stroudsburg University. She started her twirling career in 5th grade and continued to compete for Salisbury Twirlers through high school where she won several Gold medals and various awards in TIA All Chapter Championships for the TOB Indoor Association. Cassie presently competes at the world class levels for TIA (Elite) and helps in choreographing routines. Miss Cassie is no stranger to Dynamix as she has stepped in and substituted for Miss Terri while on maternity leave. We now welcome her to our permanent faculty.

"MISS DANI" HANE
Also a graduate of Kutztown University,
Dani studied many styles of dance all her life. While completing her BFA degree
in Dance, she was a member of the dance team, as well as, the residential dance
company, both of which she choreographed for. Since Kutztown, Dani kept herself
busy by teaching in Reading and the Quakertown area. Miss Dani will be teaching
all Ballet and Tap classes, in addition to combination Ballet/Tap/Jazz & Modern
Dance. She also choreographs for our dance company, IN THE MIX, and is thrilled
to be a part of the Dynamix team.

"MISS JACKIE" KOKOLUS
Jackie is our newest addition to the Dynamix team and will be joining us this summer. Before receiving her diploma from Parkland HS, she was a protégé of Miss Dana's and was trained by her for years. In high school, Jackie was an innovator at the first ever Parkland High School Dance Team where she was captain and acting choreographer. Jackie went on to complete her BA in Dance from DeSales University, where she performed and choreographed several pieces. She has additional training in Acting, Musical Theatre, and Vocal training. Miss Jackie will be teaching all Jazz/Lyrical and Musical Theatre classes, along with Ballet/Tap/Jazz combo. classes in the summer. She will also assist Miss Dana and choreograph for IN THE MIX.
"MISS TARA" LOWE
Another newcomer to
Dynamix faculty, we are proud to have Miss Tara part of our team for the 2007-08
season. Tara received her AA in Education from Louisiana State University where
she was a member of the LSU Gymnastics team. She is a champion gymnast and has
over 14 years experience competing and coaching. Tara has a very impressive
resume. one of her many credits include being the 9th All-Around Gymnast
in 1992. She Qualified for the National Team, and attended the US Olympic
Training Center with the National Team that year, before suffering from a
severe injury. Tara continued to coach Gymnastics at local elementary schools in
Louisiana before moving to PA. She currently acts as a Gymnastics Instructor
throughout the Lehigh Valley. Miss Tara will be teaching all Gymnastic classes
at Dynamix.

CHRIS RUTKOWSKI

AMY STEPHANIDES
We are fortunate to have
Amy as our Pilates instructor, here at Dynamix. As a graduate of East
Stroudsburg University, Amy has a B.S. degree in Community Health Education. She
became interested in Pilates instruction when her chronic lower back pain was
alleviated due to the practice of Pilates. Amy was certified through one of the
most prestigious Pilates schools in the country, the "Power Pilates Studio" in
New York City. She revisits frequently to take continuing education courses and
to keep up with NY standards.

SONIA STROCKYJ
Sonia Collazo Stockyj began dancing at the age of six. She studied Latin and African dance with Ms. Polly Rogers in New York City. She acquired an Associate Degree in Folkloric dance and a Bachelor in Education. She has performed with the Fred Benjamen Dance Team and The Puerto Rican Traveling Theater, with whom she choreographed pieces for shows in New York City and Europe. Sonia will be teaching all Latin & African Dance classes, as well as, Pre-Ballet/Tap/Tumbling at Dynamix. She will also teach our Kick-boxing fitness class, being that she is also certified as an Aerobic & Kickboxing instructor with AAAI/SMA.
