Couples' Latin Ballroom &
Swing Classes Now Forming!

A new session of Couples' Latin Ballroom & Swing class is now forming on Friday evenings
from 6:30 to 7:30pm. The first class is Jan. 6 & continues for 4 weeks. The cost is $110
a couple, or $75 per person. You do NOT need to have a partner to participate. Call 610-797-1100.

Mommy & Me Classes Now Forming

A new Mommy & Me session is starting on Friday, January 6 from 5:45 - 6:30pm. This is
ideal for ages 2 to 5 & introduces creative movement for children with the help of
Mom (or Dad, Grandma, Aunt, etc.) The cost is $85 per pair for 4 weeks. $20 for each

We Have Zumba!
|

Yes, Dynamix Dance Center is now offering Zumba classes, not to mention an entire
Fitness program geared twoard giving you a good workout, yet having fun in the
process. We're taking advantage of having "mall hours" and are offering morning &
evening classes. Some classes are offered during the same time as some of your
children's classes making it easier to fi in the workout. Stay at home mom/dads,
check out our morning fitness classes. Come & join OUR party! The first class is
always FREE!

Attendance
|

The second half of our season is here & preparation for our dance production will
soon be underway. During this time, attendance is mandatory. Through the months
of February to June, if a student is absent more than 4 times, their participation
in the dance production could be in jeopardy. If a student does not know the
choreography that was missed due to poor attendance, it is up to the instructor if
they can participate or not. If extrac classes/rehearsales are needed for any reason,
including groiup & individual lessons, a pro-rated fee will be charged per student, per
class. This fee is to cover the instructor's time & any overhead costs. Please
be respectful of teachers and students and be here.

Dance Production: June 17th
|
|
This year our spring dance production will be Sunday, June 17th. We will be having 2
shows, 12:30 & 6:30pm. The venue will be at the Scottish Rite Center (Cathedral), located
at 1533 Hamilton Street (between 16th and 17th Streets & Hamilton), Allentown. Preschoolers
will only be in the first show. Our theme will be "Through the Calendar Year...a Year Gone
By." Our stage & dress rehearsal week will be June 11-13. Students will either come
June 11 or 12 (times and days to be announced) for a stage rehearsal & all performers need to
be at the DRESS REHEARSAL on Wednesday, June 13 at 4:00pm. Performer call is at 4:00pm and
curtain call is 4:30pm promptly. An exact breakdown of times and what to expect will be
given closer to that time. These rehearsals are mandatory.
If students do not attend these rehearsals, they cannot perform in the show. If you need
to carpool, or make special arrangements, please work on that now. Five (5) months should give
you enough time to prepare.

Calling All Men!

It's about that time of year when we need some comic relief! Dads, Grandpas, Brothers,
Uncles, we're calling on you. Every year our Dynamix Men are featured on stage for
a dancing "spoof." By all means we do not expect perfection and it's actually funnier
if the mean have two left feet! So, we invite anyone who is open for a good time to join
us Friday evenings. Our first meeting/ rehearsal for this year's Men's Dance is Friday,
March 2nd at 7:00pm. We will meet every other Friday until May, then every week. And
ladies, don't even try to find out what's going on! We always manage to keep what the men
are doing a secret until their stage debut. Cost is $40 to participate.

Mother's Day Routine

So, why should the men have all the fun? This year, for the first time, we invite any
mom to dance with their child on stage as part of our "Mother's Day dance," fitting in
with the theme of our show. We will NOT do this every year, so take advantage of this time!
The dance will be a lyrical style based routine and some experience would be helpful, but
not necessary. You will be featured with your child as well as part of a group dance.
The only requirements are you need to have a child currently registered with DDC and both
student and mother need to be available sunday afternoons from 2:00 to 4:00pm in March.
Our first meeting/rehearsal will be Sunday, March 4th at 2:00pm. The cost is $80 per couple
to participate.
